Conform the new "fad" in blogging? Sure I will

I was telling my dear cousin Taffee that I have nothing exciting going on in my life to update about! Everyone is having babies, getting married, going off to further their educations, dating someone, living far from home etc etc. I am doing none of those things! I am here. As I have always been, going to school as I always have, and not dating which is becoming more and more of the norm. I will not complain. Life is good. The Lord is on my side. Big life changing events don't have to occur for life to be interesting. I like that things have settled down in my life somewhat. I am loving living with Monica and Sandra. I am loving being an active part of my ward, and I am loving my new job, although it still scares me to death! I know that Heavenly Father is mindful of me. He loves me. I am important to him, and it is up to me to make him important to me. I love my family. Literally without them what would be my happiness? Yes I am happy in the gospel, but getting to share it with them and be together forever is the best reward anyone could ask for. I have the best sisters in the world. I love my brother. He and I are interconnected in ways I will never fully understand. I miss him every day. Its hard having him living 4 hours away! (Good thing we have phones) My parents are beyond amazing. They are always looking out for this family, and I am proud to call them mine. Someday I hope to find the love that they share not only between them, but with their children. So... THANKS FAMILY!! :D
Now on to the 30 day blog challenge! Todays post is supposed to be a picture of me and 15 facts!

15 interesting facts....

15. I am a passionate about learning. Especially about the human body and the aspects of how everything works in our body. I LOVE learning. Ask my family, they sure get annoyed when I used "technical" words for body parts, elbow=olecranon.. I'm a nerd that way.
14. I live to help people. I am passionate about helping someone. I want to be a nurse someday and if I can help make someone's day better that is exactly what I want to do. If my personal knowledge can help someone learn, or understand something I am going to do it.
13. Sometimes my passion for helping others hinders myself because I forget about myself! I let others lives take precedence over my own. I would much rather help someone else than talk about myself.
12. I am a people person. My job the past 5 years gave me the opportunity to get to know A LOT of people in short amounts of time. They came into my office 2-3 times a week and we became brief friends. I am not afraid to meet new people, to talk to a stranger, or to ask questions. People are fascinating.
11. Children are God's gift to us as his children. Sometimes children can be a pain, but those little joys that they give every day seem to make up for that. Holding your hand, giving you a hug, curiosity, love, pure understanding of blind faith, and trust in those around them. I am a nanny during the summer and I get to spend time with 3 amazingly frustrating, adorable Italian children. I am grateful for the time I get to be with them.
10. My family. I am the 2nd child of 5 with the 3rd child being my twin brother. I would not trade my family for anything. We were put together for a reason. "Ohana means family, family means no one gets left behind" Lilo and Sitch was an inspired movie!
9. My religion is my life. I lived a brief time without my beliefs, and without a true knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I will NEVER live without it again. I will eternally be grateful for the journey I have made in my life and for the amazing examples that helped me turn my life back in the direction it should have always been in.
8. I love to read. I don't get to read as often as I would like to, but it is a passion of mine. My sisters and I all love reading.. We have a small library between the 4 of us. I am currently working on reading the Book of Mormon cover to cover, but I am also wanting to finish the Hunger Game series.
7. I like to run. I haven't done it as often as I used to, but I find such a relief of thoughts in my head when I can just run. (when I say run I mean a light jog!)
6. I love to listen. I was blessed with the gift of listening skills. I love to do it. I love offering my advice when necessary. Not that I am all knowing, but I feel like experiences I have gone through might help someone else. I am not afraid to share those stories; however, I know there is a time and a place to listen and when to talk. I love listening to someone whether it be having a bad day, a good day, a funny story, a relationship problem, a school problem. I love to listen.
5. I LOVE music. Words to songs touch my very soul more than anything I could ever say. I have felt the spirit of God the strongest during a song. The power of music is overwhelming and without it I would be lost. If I could be a professional singer I would be. I love when a song matches EXACTLY what I am feeling.
4. I love to write. I think I can express myself better through the written word rather than speech. I let myself get into my head too much when I try to speak. I can just let the words flow out of me when I am writing.
3. I love trying new things. Skydiving, scuba diving, repelling, traveling, anything.. I am almost 100 percent sure I would try anything once.
2. I am afraid of failing. In life, in my religion, in school, for my family.
1. I love to hug. I am a BIG hugger. I think hugging makes things better. Makes you feel loved in ways that words can't express. I am not afraid to hug! If you don't like it... Please tell me or I may just attack you!

I hope those are somewhat interesting things about me.. I kind of just rambled on and on.. This will be fun to see if I can keep going for a whole thirty days! I'm kind of hit and miss! Thanks to those of you who read.. makes me feel somewhat important in your busy, busy lives!
