This wonderful lady in the middle is my beautiful mother! Not only is she one of the biggest influences on my life, but it is also her birthday! Without this woman I don't know where I would be in life! She has taught me the power of caring, of gentle touch, of encouraging words, of passion for what you believe in, to never give up on your dreams, to always move forward in the event of tragedy, and to always remember who we are and where we are going. I could go on and on and on about the many AMAZING things my mother has done for me. She is a reason why I want to become a nurse. The skills she has taught me with being a more passionate and caring person, willing to listen, and help someone in need WHENEVER is the skills necessary to drive me to become a nurse. She is always reminding me that I CAN DO ANYTHING. She never doubts my abilities, or my reasons for doing things. She knows in my heart of hearts that she has taught me what is right, and she has the faith that I will make the right decisions for myself. She is a rock. She is one of my best friends. I know people always say that because its their mom, but I really feel comfortable, and keep becoming more comfortable, telling her anything. She has sacrificed so much for me personally as well as my whole family. She puts our needs first and hers very last. If i could do anything for her today, it would be to just honor her in every way. I wish there was more I could do for this amazing woman. Someday maybe i'll be able to give her the grandkids she deserves! haha..
Thank you mom for ALWAYS pushing me forward, and always having the confidence in me that I sometimes lack for myself. You help me see that life is a great place. We have a lot to learn, and with the strength of each other we can make it through this life! I know that our family means more to you than anything else. You amaze me every day! Thanks for being my mom!!!
Side note.. My sister, Monica, is also in this picture. She has made such an impact on my life as well! I know for a fact her serving a mission helped save my soul from the downward trend it was heading in. She helped me see what was most important to me when I lacked the strength to do it on my own. Thanks sissy for always being an example of what I know is right. I know for myself that the gospel is where I want to be. Thanks for the reminders, thanks for the encouragement, and thanks for you love always. You are an amazing older sister that I will always look up to. I'm so glad we are room mates! Let our adventures begin!!!!!!! :D
